Read from Radio

Read either a full codeplug using the decompiled OpenGD77 CPS segment map, or a raw byte range for low-level inspection.

  1. Power on the radio normally (do not hold PTT + SK1).
  2. Connect the USB cable to your computer.
  3. Select Full Codeplug or Raw Range Dump.
  4. If using raw mode, choose a preset or enter area/start/length/chunk/delay manually.
  5. Click Connect & Read and select your radio from the list.
Read Mode
Area 1 is raw SPI flash and area 2 is raw EEPROM, matching the firmware USB handler. Presets below use the exact source-backed addresses from firmware/application/source/functions/codeplug.c and firmware/application/source/usb/usb_com.c. The dump stops on the first failed chunk. If any bytes were collected, a partial dump is still downloaded.

Write to Radio

Writes your codeplug directly to the radio’s memory via USB. The radio must be powered on normally — do not enter DFU mode. Power-cycle the radio after writing to apply the new codeplug.

  1. Power on the radio normally (do not hold PTT + SK1).
  2. Connect the USB cable to your computer.
  3. Click Connect & Write and select your radio.
  4. After writing completes, power-cycle the radio to apply changes.
Web Serial requires Chrome, Edge, or another Chromium-based browser. Firefox and Safari are not supported.
Boot image and boot melody CustomData writes are still experimental until a full hardware round-trip passes. Keep readback verification enabled when testing them.
Full codeplug write is not enabled yet. Use the isolated Boot Text Test page for hardware-proven boot text and boot mode experiments.
